Sunderland boss Regis Le Bris called the league "relentless". 📊 By the numbers • Brighton: 13 points from six games, third • Three straight clean-sheet league wins: only the second time in their PL history • Clearances: Brighton 44, Sunderland 19 • Gross: oldest player to assist in three successive top-flight games 🔭 Why it matters After sweeping September's monthly awards and beating Arsenal 3-0, Hurzeler's side showed they can grind out an away clean sheet with ten men too, suggesting their top-four run is no flash in the pan. Sunderland lost back-to-back home league games without scoring for the first time since 2017, slipped to 16th and are sweating on Brian Brobbey's hamstring.
