Bild: Bayern have four weak spots and Eberl weighs winter signings

📰 Bild's Christian Falk reports that Bayern have four weak spots in their squad and that sporting director Max Eberl is considering a winter signing. Nothing is planned for certain yet. 📌 Key points 🧢 Cover for Luis Díaz on the left wing is seen as most urgent. ⚽ Harry Kane is the only out-and-out No. 9 in the squad. 🔁 Hiroki Ito could reportedly leave in January. 🛡️ That would leave Kim Min-jae as the only centre-back back-up. 💰 The club reportedly has no intention of panic buying. 📝 What happened 🧢 According to Falk's report, as relayed by FCBinside, the left wing is the biggest problem area. Díaz is the undisputed starter but has no comparable understudy. In September Díaz himself said he always wants to play, but anyone who can help in his position would be welcome. ⚽ Up front, Kane is the only genuine striker. Ismael Saibari can deputise but is not a classic No. 9, so a long Kane injury would force a major tactical rethink. 🛡️ At the back, the report says Ito may be allowed to leave this winter. If so, Kim would be the only back-up to the Upamecano–Tah partnership. In midfield, beyond Kimmich, Pavlović and Tom Bischof, the options thin out to 18-year-old Bara Sapoko Ndiaye and Konrad Laimer moving inside. 🗣️ Eberl, though, responded to Díaz's comments in September by asking where Saibari had scored his goal from that day, hinting that cover on the left already exists (FCBinside). 📊 By the numbers • 4 areas under review (left wing, striker, centre-back, central midfield) • 3 conditions for a deal: quality, availability, budget • Bara Sapoko Ndiaye, midfield option, is 18 🔭 Why it matters Bayern will reportedly move only if a player is a clear sporting upgrade, is available and fits within set financial limits. If a winter deal does happen, a left winger is seen as the most likely target. Any real movement will only become clear once the January window opens.
