Tests revealed damage to the lateral meniscus in his right knee, he had surgery in Lyon on 8 September, and he is now expected to miss five to six months rather than the three first reported. 🗞️ According to Gazzetta's Filippo Cornacchia, Juve see Højbjerg as an experienced midfielder who can add leadership for Luciano Spalletti. Højbjerg, 31, is under contract at Marseille until 2028 and has started all six of his games this season, scoring once. 🧢 Marseille are reportedly open to talks, although no formal offer or agreement exists yet, and Fiorentina are also monitoring the situation. 🔁 At left-back, Juve will reportedly try again to borrow Aït-Nouri from Manchester City if Cabal departs. 📊 By the numbers • Locatelli: five to six months out • Højbjerg: 31, contracted until 2028 • Højbjerg this season: six starts, one goal ⚠️ This article summarises media reports; nothing has been confirmed. 🔭 Why it matters With Locatelli out for most of the season, Juve's midfield lacks both experience and leadership.
