Liverpool's own preview notes that the away side has won two of the last three league meetings, as many as in the previous 32. 👔 The dugouts have changed too, with Andoni Iraola at Liverpool and Enzo Maresca at City. Avoid defeat and their unbeaten away run reaches 11. ⚽ Haaland v Isak — the clubs' top scorers have five and four league goals. Haaland scored once in his first four league games against Liverpool but netted in both last season. Isak came back injured from international duty and is a doubt. 🩹 Who is missing — City are without the suspended Phil Foden and the injured Antoine Semenyo and Nico O'Reilly, so the shape of the attack is a question. 🔭 Why it matters This is City's first league game since the guilty verdict on the financial rules charges, and it comes at the toughest ground on the calendar. History says Anfield is still hard; recent form says City. Kick-off is on Sunday 11 October at Anfield.
