Man United reportedly weigh January move for Leeds' Calvert-Lewin

📰 United are reportedly weighing a January move for Leeds striker Dominic Calvert-Lewin. 📌 Key points 🔴 The Daily Mail says United are weighing up a January move. 🩹 Benjamin Sesko's shin injury, which rules him out until at least January, is the backdrop. ⚽ Calvert-Lewin has 20 goals and one assist in 49 games for Leeds. 📝 His contract runs until June 2028. ⚠️ "Weighing up" is not a confirmed negotiation. 📝 What happened 🔴 Sports Mole, citing the Daily Mail on 29 October, says United are considering a January approach. United were reportedly interested in summer 2025 too, but Leeds signed him after he left Everton. 🩹 The report ties the interest to Sesko's injury, noting Joshua Zirkzee's future is uncertain and Bryan Mbeumo is more effective on the right. 🚧 A mid-season deal between the two rivals is seen as difficult. Calvert-Lewin scored against United earlier this month. 📊 By the numbers • Leeds record: 49 games, 20 goals, 1 assist • This season: 5 goals in 10 games (15 last season) • Premier League career: 75 goals, 19 assists in 282 games • Contract to June 2028; 14 England caps, 4 goals 🔭 Why it matters United, winless in eight and without their only senior number nine, are looking at striker options. They visit Chelsea on 31 October.
