Ansu Fati out for six weeks with hamstring injury, Monaco have doubts

📰 Less than a month after returning from injury, Ansu Fati is sidelined again, this time for six weeks. 📌 Key points 🩹 Fati went off after 15 minutes against Lille with pain behind his thigh. 🔬 Tests confirmed a left hamstring muscle injury. 🗓️ Nice-Matin says he will be out for six weeks. 📉 He has no goals in three Ligue 1 games this season. 💶 Monaco signed him permanently for €11m this summer. 📝 What happened 🩹 Fati started on the left against Lille on 25 October but could not run properly and was replaced by Mathys Detourbet after 15 minutes. Tests on 26 October showed a muscle injury at the back of his left thigh. 🗓️ According to Nice-Matin he faces about six weeks out, missing at least seven matches: Paris FC, Nordsjælland, Le Mans, Auxerre, Hearts, Lyon and Angers. 🔁 Fati missed the start of the season with a calf problem and only returned in October. He scored in the Conference League at Sofia, set up by Paris Brunner, but has no goals in three Ligue 1 games. 💶 Score.fr, citing L'Équipe, reports that Monaco's hierarchy doubt the long-term physical value of a player they signed permanently from Barcelona for €11m this summer. It adds that moving him on in early January would be very difficult. 📊 By the numbers • Expected absence: six weeks • Matches he is set to miss: at least seven • Ligue 1 this season: three games, no goals • Permanent transfer fee: €11m (Score.fr) 🔭 Why it matters Monaco, without a league win in three, lose another attacking option. The injury cycle that followed Fati at Barcelona has continued in Monaco, adding to the club's questions before the January window. Monaco visit Paris FC on 1 November.
