Terms of Use
Standards for using the service respectfully.
Using the service
Dear My Team is an independent football fan community operated by LHEA UK LTD. Please follow these terms, the Community Guidelines and applicable law. Features may change or be temporarily unavailable during beta operation.
Accounts and teams
Email verification is required to complete member registration. Keep your account secure and do not use another person’s account. You can change your supported team up to three times each month; you can post, comment and like only in your own team’s community. Other team communities are readable. Do not impersonate another member’s identity or location, or bypass service restrictions.
Posts and rights
Post only content you created or are entitled to use. You retain rights to your posts and permit the operator to use them as needed for display, storage, delivery, service operation and report review. Do not post unauthorised full articles, illegal streams, personal information, malicious files or content that infringes others’ rights.
Football information
Fixtures, scores, standings and other records may be delayed or corrected depending on when the provider collects them. Match data, predictions and odds are informational and do not guarantee outcomes or returns. We do not provide video broadcasts, betting, deposits or withdrawals.
Liability and changes
We do not limit consumer rights or liabilities that cannot lawfully be excluded. We work to keep the service reliable but do not guarantee uninterrupted access or complete third-party data. Material changes to these terms will be announced before they apply.
Minimum age
You must be at least 14 to register. Confirm that you meet this requirement when joining.
Team Fan Chat access
Team Fan Chat is an always-open group chat for fans of the same team. Members who have verified their email and completed registration can use it for free without a subscription or payment. You cannot enter another team’s chat. You receive three team changes per calendar month in UK time; unused changes do not carry over. Maintenance, outages, capacity limits and sanctions may affect availability.
Rules for posts, comments and chat
Abusive language, insults, unfounded personal attacks, defamatory allegations, harassment, discrimination, hate, threats, disclosure of private information and illegal content are prohibited. Respect players, fans and staff. Reasoned criticism and different views about football are welcome; personal attacks are not. Distinguish facts, opinions and speculation, and respect privacy and copyright.
Serious violations and permanent removal
We review the content, context, repetition and harm before applying warnings, content restrictions, temporary suspensions or account removal. Confirmed serious misconduct, including abuse or personal attacks that infringe rights or create legal issues, may result in permanent removal without prior warning and a ban on re-registration. A report or allegation alone does not establish a violation. Creating another account or using another email to evade a ban is also prohibited.
Access restrictions and historical payments
Core features are free and new paid subscriptions are closed. Contact admin@dearmyteam.com about historical subscriptions and payments. Permanent account removal restricts community activity and chat access. A sanction does not itself create a refund entitlement for services already supplied; refunds may be restricted only to the extent permitted by law. Statutory cancellation and refund rights, including rights where services were not supplied, are unaffected. Unused prepaid amounts will be assessed fairly under applicable law and the services actually supplied.
Reports, appeals and legal responsibility
Use the report and block tools for problematic posts, comments or chat messages. Do not retaliate, expose personal information or organise harassment. We will explain sanctions where reasonably possible. Request a review at admin@dearmyteam.com with the page or room, time and your reasons. Moderation is not a court finding. Users may be legally responsible for their conduct, and we cooperate with lawful authority requests to the extent required.
