Maresca snaps at Chelsea red-card question: 'You lack information'
Post
๐ฐ Enzo Maresca told a reporter "You lack information" when asked about Chelsea's red cards.
๐ Key points
๐๏ธ Maresca faced a pointed question at his press conference before the Brighton game.
๐ฅ It was about the number of red cards Chelsea collected.
๐ฃ๏ธ He answered "You lack information" after asking which period the reporter meant.
๐ค Asked if it was a lingering problem, he said "I don't think so".
๐ City top the Premier League with 21 points from eight matches.
๐ What happened
๐๏ธ According to Goal, the reporter asked about Chelsea's red cards and Maresca first asked whether that meant "when I was there or when I left". Once the reporter specified his time at the club, he replied "You lack information".
๐ฅ The same report said six Chelsea players were sent off between September and November, during his final months in charge. Last season Chelsea collected 118 Premier League yellow cards and 11 red cards across all competitions.
๐ช Maresca left Chelsea on New Year's Day and took charge at City at the end of June. On his current squad he said "We're going in the right direction".
