Liverpool reportedly watch Schade as Arsenal circle and Brentford talk

📰 Sky Sports reports that Andoni Iraola's Liverpool are keeping tabs on Brentford's Kevin Schade. No offer has been made. 📌 Key points 👀 Sky Sports says Liverpool are monitoring Schade. 🔁 Arsenal are also reported to be interested. ✍️ Brentford have opened talks on a new long-term deal. ⚽ Schade has three goals in five league games this season. 💰 He joined for around £22m in 2023, then a club record. 📝 What happened 👀 Sky Sports' Lyall Thomas reports that Liverpool and Arsenal are both keeping a close watch on Schade, with Chelsea and Tottenham also having tracked him. No club is believed to have made a formal offer. ✍️ In response, Brentford have opened talks with the 24-year-old over a new long-term contract. His current deal runs to 2028. ⚽ Schade has started the season with three goals in five Premier League games (some outlets say four). Primarily a left-sider, he can play across the front line and is valued for his pace and pressing. 💰 He joined Brentford on loan from Freiburg in 2022/23 before a permanent move in June 2023 for around £22m, a club record at the time. 📊 By the numbers • 2026/27: 3 goals in 5 league games • 2025/26: 8 goals, 3 assists in 35 league games • 2024/25: 12 goals, 3 assists in 43 games in all competitions • Brentford career: 25 goals, 9 assists in 119 games 🔭 Why it matters If Liverpool want another wide forward, Schade is a realistic option. But Brentford are strengthening their hand with a new contract and a January sale looks unlikely. All of this is reported, not confirmed.
