Bayern reportedly eye Leipzig's Nusa as Diaz cover, €65m fee a hurdle

📰 A German report claims Bayern are monitoring Leipzig winger Antonio Nusa as possible cover for Luis Diaz. 📌 Key points 👀 Bayern have reportedly put Nusa on their watchlist. 🗞️ The Fussballnews report was relayed by FCBinside. 📵 There has reportedly been no concrete contact yet. 💰 Leipzig are said to want around €65m. ⚔️ Arsenal, Tottenham and Aston Villa are also said to be interested. 📝 What happened 👀 Bayern-focused site FCBinside, citing German outlet Fussballnews, reported that Bayern are keeping an eye on Nusa as they look for a back-up to Diaz. It is not at the stage of concrete talks, but he is one of the options they could consider if the circumstances are right. 💰 According to the report, Leipzig would want around €65m if they sold him. Arsenal were said to be preparing an offer of around €40m, with Tottenham and Aston Villa also interested. Back in July, Sky Germany put Leipzig's asking price at a minimum of €60m. 🗣️ Nusa himself appears in no rush to leave. In August he told beIN Sports he had never asked to leave Leipzig and that rumours are just rumours. 📈 The 21-year-old Norway winger joined Leipzig from Club Brugge in August 2024 and is under contract until 2029. He made 31 Bundesliga appearances in 2025/26, scoring four goals and providing three assists, and his dribbling is seen as his main strength. 📊 By the numbers • Leipzig's asking price: around €65m (per FCBinside) • Nusa: 21, contracted until 2029 • 2025/26 Bundesliga: 31 games, 4 goals, 3 assists 🔭 Why it matters This is still single-outlet talk of interest, and it is far from clear whether Bayern will act. The key question is whether they would spend €65m on a back-up, and with Nusa content at Leipzig, a move any time soon looks unlikely.
