Flick questions Brazil's Australia trip as 14-goal Raphinha misses two

📰 Hansi Flick ruled Raphinha out of Barcelona's next two games and took aim at Brazil's choice of friendlies. 📌 Key points 🚫 Raphinha will miss Getafe on 10 October and Galatasaray away on 13 October. 🇦🇺 He picked up a hamstring problem in Brazil's 4-2 friendly win over Australia. 🗣️ Flick said Brazil should think carefully about whether he needed to play in Australia. ⚽ Raphinha has scored 14 goals in eight Barça games this season. 🗓️ ESPN expects him back for PSG on 20 October and the Clásico on 25 October. 📝 What happened 🩻 At his pre-Getafe press conference on 9 October, Flick said the scan had "showed something" but it was "not a big injury". Even so, he confirmed Raphinha would not be available "tomorrow or in Istanbul against Galatasaray". The winger missed the final session and trained alone. 🗣️ According to GOAL, Flick said Brazil needed to think carefully about whether it was necessary for Raphinha to play in Australia, calling the situation "unbelievable" and urging more care over friendlies. 📉 ESPN notes Raphinha missed 25 games with hamstring problems last season, which is why Barça are so wary of a relapse. 🌟 Flick also said Lamine Yamal "will be the best in the world if he isn't already". Gabriel Jesus is expected to lead the line in Raphinha's absence. 📊 By the numbers • Raphinha this season: 14 goals in eight games • Games missed with hamstring issues last season: 25 • Barça this season: eight wins from eight • Games he will miss: Getafe, Galatasaray 🔭 Why it matters Perfect Barça lose their top scorer just as a packed October begins, and the club-versus-country row over player welfare has flared up again.
