He recorded three goals and two assists in the three league rounds played that month, seeing off Freiburg pair Igor Matanović and Yannik Engelhardt, Mainz forward Phillip Tietz, Leverkusen's Miguel Gutiérrez and Stuttgart's Maximilian Mittelstädt. 💥 The striking detail is that every one of those contributions came in a single match – Bayern's 7-0 thrashing of Union Berlin. Across the season so far he has four goals and two assists in four league games. 🏅 Olise was already the 2025/26 Player of the Season after 15 goals and 19 assists, the first player since 2019/20 to reach 15 of each in a campaign. He also won the monthly award in November 2025 and January 2026. 📊 By the numbers • September: 3 league games, 3 goals, 2 assists (all v Union Berlin) • 2026/27 so far: 4 league games, 4 goals, 2 assists • 2025/26: 15 league goals, 19 assists, Player of the Season • Voting split: fans 40%, clubs 30%, experts 30% 🔭 Why it matters Some will question an award built largely on one afternoon. But following last season's Player of the Season prize with another early honour reinforces the view that Olise is the Bundesliga's most consistently decisive attacker. Bayern resume their league campaign after the international break.
