Real Madrid reportedly monitor Bournemouth's Alex Scott for January

📰 Real Madrid are reportedly monitoring Bournemouth midfielder Alex Scott as a January option, though it remains interest rather than anything concrete. 📌 Key points 🔎 Spanish journalist Miguel Serrano first reported Real's interest. 🤝 Bournemouth reportedly agreed to tip Real off if Scott is ever sold. 🧢 The 23-year-old can play as a No. 6 or a No. 8. 💰 His valuation is said to be £80m to £90m. 🚫 Bournemouth do not want to sell in January and are pushing for a new deal. 📝 What happened 🔎 According to Serrano, as relayed by Madrid Universal, Real have identified Scott as a January target. His name is said to have come up when Real signed Dean Huijsen from Bournemouth in 2025, with a verbal understanding that Bournemouth would let Real know if they ever decided to sell. 🧢 Scott joined Bournemouth in 2023 and has developed from a playmaker into a versatile midfielder comfortable at No. 6 or No. 8. He has one goal and two assists in six appearances this season and is an England international. 🚫 Sports Mole reports, however, that Bournemouth have no desire to sell in January and want to offer him a new contract, with his current deal running to June 2028. The asking price is believed to be above £80m and close to £90m. 🔁 Manchester United, Liverpool, Arsenal, Chelsea and Manchester City all reportedly considered moves in the summer, so competition would be fierce. 📊 By the numbers • Age 23, contracted until June 2028 • This season: 6 appearances, 1 goal, 2 assists • Reported valuation: £80m to £90m (Sports Mole) 🔭 Why it matters The Huijsen link could give Real an edge, but the story rests largely on one journalist and Bournemouth are reluctant to sell mid-season. Nothing is imminent; it depends on whether Real feel they need midfield reinforcements in the January window.
