Kim Min-jae slated after Bayern's 3-3 draw at debutants Viking

📰 Bayern Munich were held 3-3 by Champions League debutants Viking, and the German press singled out Kim Min-jae for the opening goal. 📌 Key points ⚽ Bayern drew 3-3 away at Viking in Norway. ⏱️ They conceded a headed goal from a corner after two minutes. 📉 Abendzeitung and Bild both gave Kim a rating of 4. 🗞️ Abendzeitung said he did not even go up for the header. 🟥 Bayern led 3-2 but conceded late after Olise's red card. 📝 What happened 🏟️ Bayern drew 3-3 with Viking at the Lyse Arena in Stavanger in the second round of the Champions League league phase. Viking, last season's Norwegian champions, are in the competition proper for the first time in their history. 😱 Kim started at centre-back and played 90 minutes. Around 71 seconds in, Stensness headed Viking in front from a corner; Bild said Kim lost the ball to give away the corner and failed to hold his position for the header. Christiansen added a second on the counter in the 38th minute. 🔄 Harry Kane scored a penalty and a header after the break and Luis Díaz put Bayern 3-2 up. But Michael Olise was sent off for a second yellow, and Haugen headed in a 90th-minute equaliser. 🗞️ Munich daily Abendzeitung wrote that Kim, for some reason, did not jump for the header on the first goal, and flagged passing errors and lost possession afterwards. Centre-back partner Jonathan Tah also got a 4 and was replaced by Upamecano at half-time. 📊 By the numbers • Kim's pass accuracy: 86% (55 of 64) • 2 tackles, 1 interception, 5 recoveries • German rating 4 (Abendzeitung, Bild); FotMob 6.4 • Bayern had 66% possession and outshot Viking 25-8 🔭 Why it matters Kim is already caught up in the '96 group' retirement row, the boot-throwing incident with Korea and talk of a January sale, and now faces criticism at club level too. Bayern, on one win and one draw, host Arsenal in the Champions League on 21 October.
